Essay 2-01b: Languages I have learned

I have learned three languages.  They are Japanese, English and German.  I state how I learned them so far.  Especially, I state about Japanese and English.  Also, I state when I learned these languages. 

First of all, I talk about Japanese.  I can speak Japanese because it is my native language.  Therefore it is for me to learn Japanese than other languages.  I learned hiragana, katakana and kanji so far.  I like learning a new character.  However, I don’t like reading books.  Especially, I dislike reading Japanese textbook because I don’t know feeling of the author, so I don’t like Japanese class since a child.  Also, it is slow that I read a letter, so I take much time to read a book.  Therefore I always had bad mark of Japanese examination.  I want to come to understand contents of the story as soon as possible.  What’s more, I can write many difficult kanji and want to come to understand a Japanese meaning. 

Next, I talk about English.  When I was three years old, I learned English for the first time.  When I went to a preschool, a teacher of foreigner came to a preschool to teach English.  I learned many English words while I watched a lot of pictures.  I was very fun then.  Also, when I was five years old, I went to a private supplementary school.  I learned English there.  I learned English while matching it with rhythm.  Therefore I was able to learn English happily.  From this, I learned English happily when I was a child. 

Then, I learned English when I was a junior high school student.  I read textbooks of English, and I talked with the teacher of the foreigner.  Moreover, I learned English grammar.  When I was a seventh grader, my class teacher was an English teacher, so I became to like English.  Therefore I went to two private supplementary schools to study English.  Then, I took practical English skill official approval several times when I was a junior high school.  I call practical English skill official approval Eiken in Japanese.  I was all a blow pass.  When I was a ninth grader, I took the third grade.  It was a little difficult for me, but I passed it.  I was very glad then.  I studied English hard to pass Eiken and go to a high school. 

When I was a high school student, I learned English in detail.  When I became a high school student, the number of English words increased, so it was very hard for me to learn new words.  Also, there was that one word had plural meanings, so it was difficult for me to suppose a meaning from a sentence.  Moreover, compound word increased.  Therefore it was difficult for me to translate English into Japanese.  Moreover, I studied English to hear a radio or watch English TV program.  What's more, I studied Eiken associate second grade to pass it when I was fifteen years old.  Then, I took Eiken second grade for two years, but I didn't pass it.  I studied English to pass Eiken and go to a university.  I want to get the occupation that I speak English, so I studied English. 

I was interested in English, so I thought I studied English hard.  Therefore I entered KGU last year, and I studied English technically.  English was too difficult for me, so I came to dislike it last year.  There was a lot of homework last year, but I was able to learn many things.  I was surprised at quantity of homework this year because there was more quantity of homework than last year.   For example, I studied English central, essay, book reviews and so on this year.  Also, I studied speaking, reading, writing, listening for two years in this university.  Moreover, I studied English grammar last year.  I didn't like talking with foreigner, but I became to be able to talk with foreigner.  I think it is big progress for me. 

Next, I talk about German.  I want to go to Germany, so I learned it for the first time last year.  I studied it for a year.  It was very difficult for me, so I studied it hard before I take the examination.  At first, I learned many words, a definite article and an indefinite article.  Then, I learned German grammar.  For example, I learned relative pronoun, comparison, and infinitive and so on.  Also, I practiced speaking German in front of the teacher.  I was nervous then.  However, I was not gradually tense, and I came to be able to speak German by degrees.  If there is an opportunity, I want to learn German next year. 

Finally, I came to want to get the work that I include foreign countries in by having learned these languages.  When I was a child, I wanted to be florist.  However, my present dream is the tour planner who plans the overseas tour.  Then, I want to make use of these languages that I learned in the future so far for the world.  Therefore I think I should want to wear a more English skill.  What’s more, I’m interested in Italian food and Italian sightseeing spots, so I want to study Italian.
