BR 2-07: The that Fish Talked

This story’s main character is Manu, many animals and a fish.  Manu is a young man living in India.  One day, Manu was wading in a stream.  A tiny fish swam into his hands.  He carried the fish home.  He put the fish into a jar of water and fed it with crumbs.  It grew until it was too big for the jar, so he took the fish to the well and fed it with bread.  It grew until it was too big for the well.  He took the fish to the river.  He did not feed it, but it grew until it was too big for the river.  It was enormous, so it looks heavy.  Actually, it was as light as air.  Manu took it to the seashore.  Manu built a huge boat.  Soon, dark clouds filled the sky, and the rain came.  It rained until water covered the land.  Only Manu’s boat floated above the waves.  Then, Manu met the fish, and it helped Manu.  Manu became King.
Why did Manu build a boat?  Who was the fish?  Why did Manu become King?

I borrowed this book because I was attracted by the title of this book.  I thought if I do some good things, it may be good things.  I thought I try to do many good things.  I was surprised that the fish was as light as air.  I knew why the fish was light when I finished reading this book.  This book was interesting for me.
